Our Vision

Life Together. Faith Together. Grow Together

We are a Christ-Centered, Disciple-Making Church that seeks to serve and worship God in Spirit and Truth. We seek Jesus first in everything we do and place scripture as our supreme authority. We seek to be a faithful body of believers who reach out to our community with love, empathy, grace, and truth.

All are Welcome! All are Loved!

WHAT WE BELIEVE

God -
is the Creator and Ruler of all that exists. He eternally exists and has revealed Himself in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:2,26,27; 3:22; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2)

The Bible -
is God's written Word to all people. Human authors wrote it under supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, the original manuscripts are truth without any mixture of error. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; 2 Timothy 1;13; Psalm 119:105; 12:6; Proverbs 30:5)

Sin -
is a condition we all find ourselves in. It is anything we think, say, or do that breaks God's law. Since man's original sin - disobedience to God - all of humanity has been plunged into this state. We cannot break the power or strength of sin ourselves, it demands punishment. But God had a redemptive plan in place, and throughout the Bible we see His plan unfold to bring about the Savior of the world - His Only Son, Jesus Christ, who took the penalty of our sin, and rose again to life, to give us eternal life. Now salvation is offered to all who repent of their sins, and accept Christ's forgiveness, and obey Him. (Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23; John 1:12; 1 John 1:9; John 3:16;)

Salvation -
is a free gift from God. People can never make up for sin by self-improvement or good works. However, all who admit their hopeless and sinful condition and turn from it, can be saved by accepting the shed blood of Jesus as God's only provision for forgiveness. (Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 1:12; Titus 3:5; Galatians 3:26; Romans 5:11; John 14:6)

Satan -
is the created angel, Lucifer, who tried to usurp God's position. Also known as the Devil, serpent, the accuser of the brethren, and the ruler of the kingdom of the air. He is God's adversary and the enemy of mankind. (Isaiah 14;12-15; Ezekiel 28:11-19; 1 Timothy 3:6; Ephesians 2:2; Revelation 20:10).

Heaven and Hell -
Heaven is the eternal home for all who believe on Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord (Matthew 25:31-46; John 14:1-3). Hell is the eternal place of torment and punishment for all those who do not accept Jesus as their Savior (Matthew 25:31-46; Revelation 19:20; 20:10, 13;15).

Creation -
God, through Jesus and His Holy Spirit, spoke into existence all that there is in six days, and on the seventh day He rested from creating, giving us the Sabbath Day. (Genesis 1:1-2; 2; Exodus 20:8-11; John 1:3,10).

Life -
All human life is sacred; therefore, murder, abortion, infanticide, and euthanasia are wrong. (Genesis 1:26-27; Psalm 8:4-5; 51:5; 22:9-10; 139:34; Eccl. 3:1-2; Heb. 9:27).

People -
People are made in the image of God, to fellowship with God, worship Him and to be stewards of His creation. People are the supreme objects of God's creation. Although humans have tremendous potential for good, they are marred by disobedience toward God (the sinful human nature). This separates people from God. (Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8;3-6; Isaiah 53:6; Romans 3:23; Isaiah 59:1-2).

Marriage -
Marriage is between one man and one woman and is intended to last the lifetime of the couple. Sexual relationships outside of the marriage relationship are sin. (Genesis 2:18, 21-24; Matthew 19:8; 1 Corinthians 6:9; romans 1:21-32; Leviticus 18:22; 20:13)

Eternity -
Humans are created to live forever. They will exist eternally, either separated from God by sin, or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God leads to Hell; to be in union with him leads to Heaven. Both Heaven and Hell are literal places of eternal existence. (Ephesians 3;1-11; 2 Corinthians 4:18; 2 Peter 1:11; Revelation 14:9-12; 20:10).

The Holy Spirit -
The Holy Spirit is the third person of the "trinity", and lives inside each person who has repented of their sins, and given their life to Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is active in regenerating our spirit, and giving us power to be witnesses for Jesus Christ. He convicts us of sin, guides us into righteousness, and is evident in our bearing fruit, and being used in the gifts He has given the church. (Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:22; 1 Corinthians 12; Romans 12:6-8)

The Return of Christ –
Though "no man knows the day or the hour" of Christ's return, we know that there will be signs of His return, in the last days. The Bible instructs us, in Luke 21:28, "When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near."

The Bible says that Christ will return:
…Suddenly. “As the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man” (Matt. 24:27).

…Unexpectedly. “You also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an unexpected hour” (Matt 24:44). “You yourselves know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night…there will be no escape!” (1 Thess 5:2–3).

…Personally. “This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come again in the same way as you saw him go into heaven” (Acts 1:11).

…Visibly. “Look! He is coming with clouds; every eye will see him…” (Rev 1:7).

…Audibly. “The Lord himself, with a cry of command [shout], with the archangel’s call and with the sound of God’s trumpet, will descend from heaven” (1 Thess 4:16).

…Victoriously. “Death has been swallowed up in victory…thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Cor 15:54, 57).

…Eternally. We will then “meet the Lord in the air; and so we will be with the Lord forever” (1 Thess 4:17).
